The Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation, and Livestock says that its minister, Mullah Ataullah Omari, met with Iranian Ambassador Alireza Bikdeli in Kabul.
According to the ministry, the two sides discussed expanding cooperation in agriculture, livestock, trade, and between the private sectors of both countries.
Iranian Ambassador Alireza Bikdeli stated that the agreements will be implemented according to a set plan and that ties between the two countries will be strengthened through agriculture.
He also invited Afghanistan’s Agriculture Minister to attend the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) meeting in Tehran.
