    Afghan and Kazakh Officials Discuss Investment in Afghanistan’s Railway Sector

    The Ministry of Public Works announced that Acting Minister Mawlawi Mohammad Essa Thani met with Kazakh Ambassador Gaziz Akbasov in Kabul.

    According to the statement, the two sides discussed bilateral trade and economic relations, the transit of commercial goods into Afghanistan, the increase in exports from Afghanistan, and potential investment by Kazakh companies in major infrastructure projects—particularly in the railway sector.

    Both parties emphasized the importance of strengthening economic and trade ties and reaffirmed their commitment to continued cooperation in infrastructure development.
