Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar, has directed the Ministry of Finance to end the taxation of medicines imported from Pakistan within the next three months.
Mr. Baradar noted medicines imported from Pakistan were of poor quality, and the issue had triggered widespread complaints from the public.
He instructed pharmaceutical import firms to finalize their accounts and end all transactions within the designated timeframe.
