The Shahada News Agency reported that Al-Qaeda’s military wing in East Africa, the Harakat-Al-Shabaab Almujahideen, killed nine people in Somalia’s Bay region on charges of spying for the United States and Somalia.
The report stated that these individuals were allegedly providing intelligence on Al-Qaeda forces to American and Somali intelligence agencies and were involved in the “assassination” of Al-Qaeda leaders.
Meanwhile, another military faction of the movement, the Jama’at Nasr al-Islam wal Muslimin, carried out six attacks on military and government militias in Burkina Faso, Niger, and Mali.
The Al-Adh-Dhallaqa media outlet reported that these attacks resulted in the deaths of 10 people, more than four others were injured, and a large quantity of ammunition was also seized by Al-Qaeda’s military wing.
