Arab foreign ministers held a closed-door meeting in Cairo on Monday to discuss the future of Gaza following the war.

According to reports, the meeting took place ahead of an upcoming Arab summit and aimed to formulate a response to U.S. President Donald Trump’s plan, which reportedly seeks to take control of Gaza and forcibly displace its residents to other countries.

Agence France-Presse, citing a well-informed source, reported that the plan discussed during the meeting is expected to be presented for approval at the Arab summit on Tuesday.

It is worth noting that Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty stated during a press conference in Cairo on Sunday that a reconstruction plan for Gaza has been finalized and will be submitted to Arab leaders in Cairo for approval.
