Sources close to the Pakistani regime’s military reported that an armed attack targeted a military checkpoint in Bannu on Friday morning.

It’s said that seven police officers were critically injured in the attack.

No group has claimed responsibility yet, but in the past, the Pakistani Taliban Movement has claimed multiple attacks on Pakistani forces in the district.

The Pakistani Taliban Movement is known to have a strong presence in Bannu and has previously warned Pakistani soldiers to abandon their duties.
