The Baloch National Movement (BNM) has issued a warning to foreign companies, advising them to refrain from investing in Balochistan, as any agreements with Islamabad are considered unacceptable.

In a statement, a BNM spokesperson urged international firms to avoid exploiting Balochistan’s natural resources and to cease any investment initiatives in the region.

The statement further stressed that Balochistan is engaged in a struggle for independence from Pakistan, and that any deals made with Islamabad-based, unrelated officials are completely unacceptable to the Baloch people.

This warning comes in light of recent reports in Pakistani media, which reveal that the country has extended invitations to foreign companies, particularly American ones, to invest in the mineral sectors of Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
