Reports indicate that the interim government of Bangladesh, led by Dr. Muhammad Yunus, has canceled the passports of 97 individuals, including former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina Wajid, because of criminal activities.

This action follows an order issued by the International Criminal Court (ICC) for the arrest of Sheikh Hasina and 11 others in connection with cases of forced disappearances and unlawful killings during her time in office.

Former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina Wajidd was forced to resign last year amid continuous student protests.
