Colombian President Gustavo Petro, responding to the U.S. State Department’s decision to revoke his visa, stated that the American visa means nothing to him.

He emphasized that his stance has been solely in defense of the rights of the Palestinian people and in condemnation of the Zionist regime’s atrocities.

According to Reuters, Petro further described the U.S. move to revoke his visa as a clear violation of international law.

The Colombian president also stressed that supporting the people of Gaza is a humanitarian duty, not a crime, adding that no form of pressure will force him to abandon this duty.
