    Commander of U.S. Naval Forces Dismissed from Position

    The American news outlet Politico has reported that U.S. Secretary of War Pete Hegseth has dismissed John Harrison, the commander of the country’s naval forces.

    The report described Harrison as a key military commander and advisor, stating that he had implemented significant changes within the structure of the U.S. Navy.

    According to two current and one former official from the U.S. Department of War, former Deputy Commander of the Navy, Hung Cao, has been appointed as Harrison’s replacement.
