Copy-Paste Governance; When the Power of a Nuclear Nation Falls into Foreign Hands

In the pages of history, whenever the tales of nations’ humiliation and intellectual slavery are written, the name of Pakistan’s current rulers will be at the top of the list of shame. On social media, the so-called puppet Prime Minister of Pakistan, Shehbaz Sharif, in his latest tweet, where he “pleaded” and “begged” Donald Trump regarding Iran, was not just a diplomatic message, but an announcement of the funeral of the independence of a country that calls itself a “nuclear power.”

The hidden truth behind that tweet was revealed to the world when it became clear that the message was written in the first draft: “Draft – Pakistan’s Prime Minister’s message on X.” This was not a minor technical error, but rather the exposure of a major crime that shows the officials sitting in Islamabad are not the owners of their own thoughts, but merely copy, paste, and disseminate “scripts” that come from Washington and perhaps Tel Aviv.

As American journalist “Ryan Grim” has pointed out, the Prime Minister’s own staff never address him like that; this means that the message was written by foreign masters outside Pakistan’s borders, and Shehbaz Sharif has merely acted as a “robot” carrying out their orders.

This is not a story of a tweet; it is a display of the intellectual poverty that has brought a country down to the level of a “digital colony.” On one side is Iran, which has maintained its independence and pride despite decades of sanctions and international pressure, and on the other side is Pakistan’s ruling elite, which has become so powerless that it borrows words from foreigners even to seek peace. Isn’t it a shame that a nuclear country lacks the power to write two sentences about its neighbor on its own terms?

The reaction of the media and political activists in Tehran, who have called Pakistan’s efforts “hypocrisy,” is entirely justified. When the reins of your power are in the hands of others, your cries for peace and mediation are nothing but a joke. Iran knows well that hands that can not write their own tweet, how will they prevent a major war?

Shahbaz Sharif, by doing this, has lowered the head of a nation in the world. This “copy-paste” governance proves that the pillars of the Pakistani state have been weakened and the centers of decision-making have been moved outside of Islamabad.

Oh! rulers dominating the faithful people of Pakistan! If your pen has not enough ink to write for national interests, if not for Islam, and if your conscience lacks the courage to say “no” to your masters, then at least do not play with the honor and dignity of this nation. History will remember you as those who, in exchange for dollars, sold their language, their pen, their independence, their culture, and their land to foreigners.
