The National Development Company announced that the new Ghori cement factory in Baghlan Province will be inaugurated today in the presence of senior officials.

Company spokesperson Nabiullah Arghandiwal stated that 30 to 50 percent of the plant’s equipment was produced domestically at the company’s industrial facilities.

The factory can produce 5,000 tons of cement daily, significantly boosting the country’s self-sufficiency in cement production.
