The 313 Central Corps said that the forces of its 5th Infantry Brigade rescued citizens who had been stranded since last night on the Kabul–Kandahar highway due to heavy snowfall and storms.
According to the source, the rescue operations were carried out in the Salar and Aziz Kala areas of Saidabad district, Maidan Wardak province.
In addition, the defense forces reopened the road for passenger vehicles in the related areas of the district.
The 313 Central Corps assured that the committed forces of the National Islamic Army stand by the people day and night under all circumstances.
