The 313 Central Corps said in a statement that its Third Infantry Brigade cleared debris, sand, and rocks from the Kabul–Jalalabad highway after landslides and flooding disrupted traffic along the route.

According to the statement, floods and landslides hit nearly 15 points along the route, from Surobi city to Laghman Gate.

The statement added that the corps’ engineering team used a military loader to clear a 10-kilometer stretch of the road, reopening it to traffic after nearly four hours of work.
