A drone strike on a wedding ceremony in Kutum city of Sudan’s Darfur state has killed 58 civilians, including 17 children, and wounded dozens more.
According to Al Arabiya, the city is under the control of the Rapid Support Forces, where the humanitarian situation has severely deteriorated, and all markets have been closed due to ongoing attacks.
Meanwhile, a senior commander of the Rapid Support Forces, General Ahmed Adam, who played a key role in major battles in Khartoum, Al Jazira, and Darfur, has defected from the group and joined the army.
