Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi reaffirmed his country’s unwavering support for the Palestinian cause during a ceremony marking Laylat al-Qadr.

He stressed that Egypt would persist in its efforts to ensure a lasting ceasefire and advance the next stages of the peace process.

El-Sisi also urged the international community to intensify its efforts to halt the violence and contribute to regional stability.

It is important to note that Egypt played a pivotal role as a mediator in the initial ceasefire negotiations between the Zionist regime of Israel and the Hamas movement.
