The Jerusalem Post, an Israeli media outlet, reported that following the conflict with Iran and restrictions imposed at Ben Gurion Airport, Egypt’s Taba crossing has become a major overland exit point for Israelis.

According to the report, roughly 59 percent of Israelis are leaving the country through this land crossing.

Meanwhile, Egypt has raised the crossing fee from 60 to 120 US dollars, prompting a strong reaction from Israel.

The report further states that the recent escalation in hostilities with Iran has deepened economic losses within the Zionist regime and heightened concerns over possible population outflows.
