Afghan Government’s Deput Spokesperson, Mullah Hamdullah Fetrat, announced that over the past year, 2025, the Emirate courts addressed nearly 242,000 criminal and civil cases and implemented around 180 legal rulings.

He added that nearly 55,000 cases were resolved through reconciliation, and in Farah, Nimroz, Badghis, and Khost provinces, six murderers were executed under the Qisas ruling.

Fetrat further noted that, based on Emirate rulings in 2025, more than 1,100 offenders and accused individuals received punishments for non-Sharia violations.
