Nangarhar provincial media office has reported that a traffic accident in Nangarhar’s Lalpura district left one midwife dead and five others injured.
The crash took place late this afternoon in the Landi Khaybar area. Naqibullah Rahimi, spokesperson for the Nangarhar Directorate of Public Health, said a child and the vehicle’s driver were also among the injured.
Rahimi noted that the victims are staff members of health centers in Lalpura and Momandara districts. They are currently under treatment at Nangarhar Regional Hospital.
