Afghanistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has expressed deep sorrow over the crash of a transport aircraft belonging to the Turkish Armed Forces.

In a statement, the ministry extended heartfelt condolences to the government and people of Turkey, as well as to the bereaved families of this tragic incident.

It is worth noting that the Turkish military’s C‑130 aircraft crashed late yesterday in Georgian territory shortly after taking off from Azerbaijan.
