Former Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan claimed on X that the prison sentence handed down to him and his wife is a form of psychological torture.
Khan, currently in detention, said he is being deprived of his fundamental rights and essential facilities.
He urged his supporters to protest the court ruling that sentenced him and his wife to 17 years in prison.
Khan alleged that in Pakistan, the law no longer governs; instead, the country is controlled by the orders of Chief of Defense Forces Asim Munir, with court rulings pre-determined and merely announced in hearings.
