Zalmay Khalilzad, the former U.S. Special Envoy for Afghanistan, tweeted a message to Pakistani officials, advising them to focus on fixing the chaos they have created in their own country rather than offering unnecessary political advice to other nations.
Khalilzad stated that Pakistan’s military establishment is in control, having imprisoned its most popular leader, Imran Khan, and conducted fraudulent elections.
He further added, “Instead of giving unsolicited advice on other countries’ political affairs, Pakistan’s leaders should look inward at the mess they themselves have created.”
He also noted that Pakistan should think about how to address the two major insurgencies rising from Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
