Former U.S. War Department adviser Douglas Macgregor, speaking on recent Iranian attacks, warned that Tehran has launched a new form of warfare that the United States is unable to confront.
He also cautioned that U.S. military reserves are running low and the country’s economy is approaching a critical point of collapse.
Macgregor stressed that the closure of the Strait of Hormuz represents a major challenge for the United States, cautioning that the weakening dollar signals a diminishing of Washington’s global influence.
Earlier, both current and former U.S. officials, as well as international analysts, had predicted a possible defeat for the United States in the ongoing conflict.
