The Israeli military has confirmed that at least 14 soldiers were wounded and four others killed in two separate ambushes by the military wing of Hamas (Al-Qassam Brigades) in the Beit Hanoun area of the Gaza Strip.

Earlier, Tasnim News Agency, citing Hebrew media, had reported that four of the injured soldiers were in critical condition.

An Israeli news outlet named “Hadashot LeLo Tzensura” described the incidents as extremely dangerous and added that the fighting is still ongoing.

Meanwhile, the military wing of the Hamas Islamic Movement called these attacks the end of Israel’s “fabricated prestige” and warned that as long as the occupation continues, the killing of enemy soldiers will persist.
