Hamas Islamic Movement, in a statement, called on Arab and Islamic countries, as well as relevant United Nations bodies, to take practical steps to stop the ongoing killings, starvation, and destruction of essential infrastructure in the Gaza Strip.

The statement also mentioned that Israeli airstrikes continue to target refugee camps and aid distribution centers in Gaza, resulting in the martyrdom of hundreds of Palestinians.

This comes as Hamas has submitted its response to the Israeli regime regarding the new ceasefire proposal put forward by the United States and is now awaiting a reply.

Hamas has made some amendments to the proposal to accelerate negotiations aimed at ending the war.

These amendments include increasing the number of guarantor countries, clarifying the mechanism for the entry of humanitarian aid, and specifying maps for the withdrawal of Israeli forces.
