A hacker group called “Hanzala” has said that it has completely destroyed six petabytes of data belonging to the United Arab Emirates in a series of cyber operations. The group claimed that recovery of this data is impossible.

Hanzala also said that it has obtained 149 terabytes of sensitive documents from the UAE Land Department, the Dubai Courts, and the Roads and Transport Authority.

In a statement, the group said these cyber operations were carried out in response to what it described as the UAE leadership’s “betrayal” against the Axis of Resistance.

The group further claimed that as a result of the attacks, Dubai is currently facing unprecedented chaos and that the city’s administrative affairs and public services have been affected.

The Hanzala hacker group also warned that it remains on high alert and will respond strongly to any form of “betrayal.”
