The Head of the Standards and Quality Authority, Mullah Faizullah Tamim, traveled to Turkmenistan today (Tuesday) accompanied by a delegation, where he met with officials of that country’s State Standards and Norms Authority.
The Afghanistan Standards and Quality Authority stated that comprehensive discussions were held during the meeting on standards, improving quality, technical cooperation, and the exchange of experiences between the two sides.
The source added that both parties emphasized expanding joint cooperation and strengthening professional relations.
The Standards and Quality Authority also assured that it is working to broaden its relations with similar institutions in the region and around the world in order to further enhance the implementation of standards, capacity building, and the sharing of technical expertise.
