The 215 Azm Corps stated that its forces have prevented an attempt to smuggle various goods into Afghanistan in the Bahramcha district of Helmand province.
According to the corps, the items included agricultural pesticides, fabric, chemical fertilizer, rice, and adhesive materials.
The corps further noted that the goods were being transported in several trucks and were identified and seized by personnel of the 7th Border Brigade.
It added that similar smuggling attempts have also been intercepted in the same province on previous occasions.
