Helmand provincial media office reported that security forces in Sangin district successfully rescued two individuals from kidnappers.
Sources added that, during the operation, security forces also arrested a five-member group of kidnappers.
Authorities seized one rifle and a vehicle from the arrested suspects.
The suspects will be referred to the relevant judicial and legal authorities after the initial investigation.
It’s worth noting that the rescued individuals have been safely returned to their families.
