Deputy Spokesperson for the Interim Government, Mullah Hamdullah Fitrat, announced that customs officials in Khost province have intercepted a significant cache of explosives being smuggled from Pakistan into Afghanistan.

According to Fitrat’s statement, the seized materials included 270 kilograms of gunpowder, 100 bags of time-delay fuses, 36 boxes of firecrackers, and other explosive substances. These items were expertly concealed within boilers inside an imported cargo truck.

Fitrat further adds that seized explosives and the individuals involved have been handed over to security authorities for further investigation.
