India’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Harish P., has stated that the sanctions imposed on Afghanistan by the international community have lost their effectiveness.
He emphasized that these sanctions should be reassessed in light of the country’s recent developments and current realities.
He said that the international community should adopt approaches that benefit the Afghan people rather than pursuing a policy of confrontation.
The Indian representative also strongly condemned the Pakistani military regime’s recent attacks on Afghanistan. He stated that these military strikes have resulted in nothing but civilian casualties.
