The leadership of the interim government, in a message issued on the occasion of Eid al-Adha, stated that the time has come to fully serve the people. They emphasized that they are not rulers but servants, affirming, “When Allah Almighty and our oppressed people are pleased with us, there is no reason to fear anyone.”
The message called on leaders and influential figures to take positions that serve the interests of the Islamic system, the people, and the country. It urged them to use their analyses, research, speeches, writings, and recommendations to cultivate positive public awareness. The statement noted: “People listen to them; their views influence social consciousness, and this is the highest service to religion.”
The leadership stressed the further implementation of Sharia law, holding religious scholars and prominent figures responsible for enforcing Allah’s commands in society. It also directed government economic institutions to enhance support for traders and industrialists, provide them with better opportunities, and assist their growth.
The message instructed the Ministry of Refugees and Repatriation and relevant provincial authorities to offer comprehensive services to returning refugees, ensure their proper settlement, and support their transportation needs as far as possible.
Continuing the Eid message, the leadership condemned the Zionist regime’s attacks on the Palestinian people as humanitarian crimes. The interim government reaffirmed its support for the oppressed Palestinian people, strongly condemned all forms of oppression and violence against them, and called for the immediate cessation of these brutalities.
In conclusion, the leadership of the interim government extended Eid al-Adha congratulations to all Muslims, wishing them prosperity and well-being.
It is worth noting that the country’s Supreme Court has announced that the first day of Eid al-Adha will be observed on upcoming Saturday.
