The Technical and Vocational Education Authority and the Norwegian Committee have discussed expanding educational cooperation, ongoing projects and future programs.

The authority said its Director, Mawlawi Ghulam Haidar Shahamat, met with Taria Magnusson Vaterdal, head of the Norwegian Committee for Afghanistan, to discuss educational cooperation, ongoing projects and future plans.

According to the authority, the Norwegian Committee representative stressed the need to simplify work processes and strengthen coordination among relevant institutions to ensure the swift and effective implementation of joint programs. He also highlighted the importance of providing educational opportunities in special education and for people with disabilities, particularly those who are blind or deaf.

He announced that some previous projects would continue and that new programs would be launched, including a four-year lifelong learning program.

Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to continued cooperation and stressed the need to strengthen efforts to ensure the proper and timely implementation of joint projects.
