Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian met with Russian President Vladimir Putin today to discuss reaching a strategic treaty that includes close cooperation in defense sectors.
According to Reuters, this is Pezeshkian’s first visit to the Kremlin since his victory in Iran’s presidential elections in July.
The strategic partnership treaty between Iran and Russia is expected to be signed in the upcoming days, and it’s considered to be a significant and comprehensive treaty covering defense, economic, and trade cooperation between the two countries.
