Tasnim News Agency, citing the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), reported that Iran’s new air defense systems have shot down another U.S. aircraft over Isfahan.

Sources reported that the downed aircraft was an MQ-9 Reaper drone, with an estimated value of around $30 million.

The IRGC stated that the drone entered Tehran’s airspace, was detected and neutralized by their defense systems.

Iran claims that since the start of the conflict, its air defenses have shot down dozens of U.S. and Israeli spy drones, as well as several larger aircraft.
