Turkish writer and journalist Ayub Sagjan and several other international journalists reported that Iran killed one of Israel’s most influential religious figures, Meir Baer, last night.
According to Sagjan, Meir Baer, head of Israel’s Great Rabbinical Council, had previously served as a personal religious advisor to Benjamin Netanyahu.
He was among those who had earlier claimed that there were no innocent civilians in Gaza.
Reports suggest that several senior Israeli military officials have been killed in the ongoing conflict with Iran, though strict media censorship in Israel has prevented widespread coverage of these reports.
