Iranian media report that Tehran has firmly rejected a 48-hour ceasefire proposal put forward by the United States last Wednesday.

According to assessments, the proposal followed a sharp and unprecedented escalation in regional tensions, during which U.S. forces faced significant challenges as Iran’s military capabilities were miscalculated.

The source stated that Iran did not provide a written respond; instead, it responded on the battlefield by continuing heavy attacks.

The report adds that U.S. diplomatic efforts to secure a ceasefire intensified, especially after Iran struck a major U.S. weapons depot in Kuwait.
