Iran’s Foreign Minister, Seyed Abbas Araghchi, has stated that if President Donald Trump administration seeks to resume discussions on Iran’s nuclear program, it must first regain Tehran’s trust.

While Araghchi did not elaborate on the specific reasons behind his remarks, they come after Trump previously expressed that he does not intend to attack Iran’s nuclear facilities but instead aims to reach an agreement.

“The situation is far more complicated than before,” Araghchi said. “The other side must take significant steps to earn our trust.”
