    Iran’s Deputy Minister of Interior Praises Afghanistan’s Efforts in Combating Narcotics

    Iranian media have reported that Iran’s Deputy Minister of Interior recently met with a delegation from Afghanistan’s Ministry of Interior, led by Major General Mulla Abdul Haq Akhund, the Deputy Minister for Anti-Drug deputy ministry.

    During the meeting, the Iranian official praised the interim government of Afghanistan for its efforts in combating narcotics.

    He emphasized that stricter bans on the trafficking, sale, and cultivation of narcotics in Afghanistan are expected to yield even greater positive results.
