The spokesperson of Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, Ebrahim Ghaffari, stated that the American president, Donald Trump, is talking to himself and that Tehran will never compromise with Washington.
Earlier, the U.S. president had said that his talks with an “unnamed Iranian leader” were progressing well.
Ebrahim Ghaffari said that as long as the attacks carried out against Iran are not erased from the memory of the aggressors, “we will never tolerate you, neither now nor in the future.”
The spokesperson of the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters emphasized that people like them will never reach a compromise with a side like the United States.
Meanwhile, Iranian officials have told mediating countries that Trump has deceived Iran twice and that Tehran does not want to be misled by his words again.
Iranian officials also stated that recent U.S. military movements and preparations do not appear to be a peace offer, but rather a “plot.”
