Sources from Voice of Hindukush in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa report that on March 15, members of the Pakistani Taliban carried out a mine explosion, followed by an ambush on a military convoy in Tarali village, Sadda district, in Kurram province.

According to the sources, six soldiers were killed and three others injured in the attack, with the likelihood of additional casualties.

It is important to note that just the previous night, the Pakistani Taliban announced the launch of their Al-Khandaq operations for the current year, warning the Pakistani government of large-scale attacks in the months ahead.
