Iranian media have reported that Brigadier General Majid Khadami has been appointed as the new head of the Intelligence Services of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).

According to Fars News Agency, Khadami previously served as the head of IRGC’s Intelligence Protection and has now been appointed to replace Mohammad Kazemi.

It is worth noting that former IRGC Intelligence Chief Brigadier General Kazemi and his three deputies were killed four days ago in an Israeli strike.
