    Acting Foreign Minister Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi held a meeting with Qatar’s Charge d’Affaires, Merdif al-Qashooti, in Kabul, where they discussed Afghanistan-Qatar bilateral relations, recent developments with the United States, and other important issues.

    Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi described the relationship between Afghanistan and Qatar as steadily improving and expressed hope that their cooperation would continue to grow.

    Meanwhile, Qatar’s Charge d’Affaires commended the progress made in Afghanistan’s foreign relations under the interim government and reaffirmed Qatar’s commitment to ongoing support and collaboration with Afghanistan.
