    Meeting Held to Follow Up on Key Topics Raised on the Sidelines of the ECO Summit

    A meeting chaired by Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar, was held with the participation of relevant ministry officials to follow up on the issues discussed with the leaders of Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, and Azerbaijan on the sidelines of the 17th ECO Summit.

    According to a statement from the Economic Deputy’s Office, several tasks were assigned to the relevant ministries and institutions during the meeting, and they were asked to submit progress reports to the Deputy Prime Minister’s Office for Economic Affairs within a specified timeframe.

    It is noteworthy that during separate meetings with leaders of the mentioned countries on the sidelines of the 17th ECO Summit, the Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs discussed topics including political and economic relations, trade, transit, transport, railway development, electricity, visa issuance for Afghans, joint banking cooperation, and other matters.
