Jordanian military expert Muhammad Al-Maghrabi stated that Hamas leaders successfully foiled Israel’s recent attack through precise and carefully executed strategic planning.
He noted that Israel’s attempt to assassinate several Hamas leaders relied on mobile phone surveillance, and its failure marks a major intelligence failure for the Israeli regime and a significant victory for Hamas.
In an interview with the online newspaper Akhbar Al-Urdun, Al-Maghrabi disclosed that Hamas leaders had placed all their mobile devices in a separate building before their meeting. This precaution kept their actual location hidden, and when Israeli aircraft struck the building containing the phones, the operation failed.
Al-Maghrabi emphasized that the incident showcases the intensity of Hamas’s “war of minds” against Israel, explaining that although Israel depends on advanced tracking technology, Hamas effectively countered these efforts by hiding electronic signals, undermining Israel’s technological superiority.
He added that the survival of Hamas leaders marks a major intelligence setback for Israel, highlighting the failure of the operation.
