Afghanistan’s Minister of Industry and Commerce, Nooruddin Azizi, has departed for China to attend the 11th World Congress of the World Free Zones Organization.

According to the Ministry, the congress will be held in China’s Hainan Province from October 10 to 12, 2025.

The congress will focus on the role of free zones in long-term innovation, expansion of cooperation, and strengthening of economic relations between countries.

Minister Azizi, invited officially by the organization, will participate in the ministerial meetings, deliver a speech, and hold bilateral meetings with other participating ministers.

It is worth mentioning that the 10th phase of this congress was held last year in Dubai.
