Spokesperson for the Ministry of Interior, Mufti Abdul Mateen Qani, stated in a press release that Interior Minister Khalifa Sirajuddin Haqqani chaired high-level leadership meeting of the ministry.
According to Qani, the meeting included in-depth discussions on a wide range of important issues, notably security and social matters.
During the meeting, Minister Khalifa Sirajuddin Haqqani stressed the need to enhance security for both citizens and communities.
He also urged police forces countrywide to serve the public faithfully and foster strong cooperation with citizens to remove any gap between law enforcement and the community.
