    Ministry of Interior: Over 100 Firearms and Large Stockpile of Military Equipment Seized in Helmand

    The Ministry of Interior has reported that security forces seized 105 light and heavy weapons, along with a significant amount of military equipment, during special operations carried out in Lashkargah, the capital of Helmand province, and several of its districts.

    According to the ministry, the seized Stockpile include 63 pistols, 14 Kalashnikov rifles, 3 heavy weapons, 3 M4 rifles, 12 Blazen rifles, 5 break-action rifles, 1 Karbin, 1 Papasha, 1 militia rifle, 1 rocket launcher, 1 light weapon, and 3,000 rounds of light and heavy ammunition.

    The ministry added that the individuals arrested during the operations have been handed over to judicial authorities following initial investigations. However, it did not disclose the number of detainees.
