    Ministry of Interior: Security Forces Seize Multiple Weapons and Ammunition in Four Provinces

    The Ministry of Interior has announced that, following a series of targeted operations by the Counter-Terrorism Police, 13 firearms were seized in Faryab, four firearms and a quantity of ammunition in Balkh, additionally some ammunition in Parwan, and one firearm in Samangan.

    The Ministry confirmed that these weapons and ammunition were being held unlawfully.

    Furthermore, the Ministry stated that, in connection with the seized weapons, three individuals were arrested in Faryab, and one individual was detained in Samangan. Following initial investigations, they will be transferred to judicial authorities.
