The Ministry of Justice has reported that more than 20,400 Jiribs (approximately 10,098 acres) of state-owned land have been officially recovered and freed from encroachment in the past month.

According to the ministry’s spokesperson, the reclaimed land spans 13 provinces, including Khost, Nimroz, Panjshir, Badghis, Maidan Wardak, and Bamyan, with the majority of the recovered land located in Bamyan.

The Ministry further stated that over the past month, technical committees tasked with preventing land encroachment in 24 provinces have successfully identified and registered more than 253,500 Jiribs (approximately 125,777 acres) of state-owned land.
